Update in Q4 from Karsten Trautmann, EPHMRA President
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Good to reconnect at the end of a very busy year - and I hope you are all doing well!
It has been a very positive year for EPHMRA – our membership remains strong and we have a large cohort of engaged members.
I wanted to share an update on what we have been focussing on in 2023.
Code update - to support the membership EPHMRA has taken steps to clarify the payment of incentives to HCPs in Spain:
A Healthcare professional’s participation in a Market Research study in Spain, which is targeted and concerns their profession, is considered by the Spanish tax authority as a professional collaboration and as such any remuneration is subject to personal income tax (IRPF).
The fees shown are at the 2023 levels – in January fees will rise by at least 5% to cover significant increases in venue and operating costs
