Forecasting for Non-Forecasters

Course Objectives:

Few people can say they are married to Excel but for most the outcome of an asset forecast is of material interest or very-high impact directly or indirectly. This course is to empower people involved in decision making at senior level to

1. Demystify the process of forecasting
2. To feel more confident about forecasting
3. As a result, to play an active role in discussions, even if it is only by asking better questions
4. To understand forecast accuracy and uncertainty and how it is communicated
5. To help identify viable commercial propositions

Forecasting is evolving from a process traditionally focused on accuracy with a narrow functional scope to an enabler for patient, payer, doctor and manufacturer value creation (not just on paper), co-created by a close-nit integrated team of X-functional stakeholders.
