One of the key takeaways from the paper by Sarah Brown and Mariel Metcalfe of Research Partnership, which is called “When something clicks: Fusing data to fuel deeper insight”, is that: Data fusion allows the assimilation of fragmented data into a coherent whole that can be interrogated for a variety of purposes.
Maximising the utility of available data – in this case from syndicated research – enables us to develop higher-level hypotheses. It also reduces the necessary investment of time and resources that custom research would have required.
This paper will be convened by Sanjana Bose of Roche.
This paper will be presented at our Basel Chapter meeting on Thursday 25th September 2025.
