Call for Papers is now Open
This online event is aimed at early career professionals in healthcare market research – those who have less than 5 years in the industry and a job title of Associate Director and below. We are looking for papers to be given where possible by early career professionals but paper ideas from the wider membership are very welcome. However please ensure your paper is targeted at early career professionals.
In previous year’s we have focussed on topics such as career progression, performance review and building personal reputation. This year we are broadening the themes discussed at the conference, Topics of Interest are:
- Patient research – have you been involved in a project that tried a different approach – maybe it worked or maybe it was not so successful. But either way– what were the key learning outcomes from this?
- Cultural differences in field work – if you work in a market that is challenging or not usually included in RFPs then how about presenting a Country Capsule – dos and don’ts in healthcare market research.
- AI/automation – we have heard a lot about the theory – now we are looking for concrete examples about applying AI models in healthcare market research, for example AI moderation or the use of AI in qualitative research. What was your role in the project and what did you learn?
- Behavioural science – have you been involved in a project where behavioural science is applied to give greater insights?
- Research methodologies – for example, effective research in niche or targeted markets, working with reduced budgets or emerging passive data collection tools.
- Rare diseases – have you been on the market research team with a project involving patients or HCP in a rare disease project? What was the business question the project was designed to address and what was your role in delivering the project? We are looking for papers to be given where possible by early career professionals, demonstrating your contribution to the project (not necessarily as the lead) and what you learned from it.
In general, presentations will be 20 minutes long and all delivered on the zoom platform. However, we are also happy to look at other paper lengths.
Submission deadline is Tuesday 20th October 2026 – submit here
