The EphMRA MR Excellence Awards are an annual opportunity for you as members to showcase your expertise. With EphMRA colleagues actively engaged in an extensive range of healthcare market research initiatives, studies and projects, the EphMRA Board would like to take this opportunity to find out more about what members have been developing and working on across 2020, encourage them to enter the awards and have the opportunity to raise awareness and protentional to be awarded.
The three Awards (detailed below) are judged by carefully selected highly experienced fellow members and awarded by the EphMRA Board, the MR Excellence Awards showcase the best examples of our industry.
This year has been a uniquely challenging one for us all and as such, now more than ever is the time for yourselves as members and non-members to remind the wider community and sector of the expertise and great work and value of healthcare ‘market research and analytics’.
The Awards are open to members and non-members, and with a submission deadline 28th February 2021, it’s now time for you to start preparing for and organising your submissions. With the current climate, the challenges across 2020 and opportunity to communicate and celebrate successes, we are expecting the standards to be higher than ever, so you need to ensure your submission is high calibre and reflects excellence in our sector.
Winners will be announced in April 2021. The winning papers will receive a certificate and memento award and are offered the opportunity to present at the June 2021 Conference (but this is optional).
As with previous years there are three Award categories for 2021 MR Awards:
This Award is for a market research project that has made an impact on the business. It will showcase how, through the project design, implementation and insights generated you have made a difference. Please do highlight in your submission where the company’s business has modified and improved its strategy and/or how the project made an impact and helped the client company move its business forward. This award would ideally suit a joint submission – agency/industry.
Your submission should demonstrate an aspect of a project that was done differently – there was something innovative included or the approach was more cutting edge. We’d like to hear about studies where you have tried new approaches – it may have been successful/partly successful – so tell us what worked/what didn’t work and what you have learnt from this.
Calling all Managers: Please do have a look to see who in your Team could make a submission for this Award! As a Young Professional, if you’ve been working in healthcare market research for 5 years or less we are looking for your submission which focuses on one, two to three MR projects you have played a major role in. In your submission please outline the projects, their objectives, and what you learnt in terms of your own professional development from being involved in these projects.
As with previous years MR Awards, we will be announcing our experienced judges who will review the Award submissions so as to ensure the awards entries are assessed independently by colleagues with relevant range of experience.
Last year saw an unprecedentedly number of high quality of entries and the judges had a challenging role in selecting the winners, resulting in joint winners being awarded for the two main Awards.
