GDPR - The Latest News!
The European Union (EU) says that "The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years" (http://www.eugdpr.org/eugdpr.org.html).
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will apply from 25th of May 2018. The clock is ticking. You need to know what the GDPR means for your business and your work.
EphMRA as we hope you are aware has been busy preparing and providing updates for members on the implications of the GDPR for international healthcare market research. In addition to these updates we are running a webinar on 14 November 2017 to explain what's happening.
Since the publication of the Regulation, EU and national data protection bodies have been busy interpreting GDPR requirements and we in turn have been busy translating their guidance into a market research context. We will be providing an overview of how the GDPR will affect market research to complement our updates. The webinar is aimed at all those that commission or manage the collection of personal data for market research.
It is a free to members event and you can attend if you are a fully paid up member.
Speaker: Catherine Ayland, Ethics Consultant
